Ammon News - AMMAN (Petra)--Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs Nasser Judeh met on Wednesday with a delegation from the Pakistan National Institute for Public Policy to discuss Jordanian–Pakistani ties as well as the latest developments in the Middle East.
Judeh reviewed with the delegation the latest developments in Syria, pointing to Jordan's stance, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, to arrive at a political solution to the Syrian crisis that will guarantee the security, stability, and unity of Syria.
The minister also briefed the members of the delegation on Jordan's efforts to re-launch serious and effective negotiations between the Palestinians and the Israelis to implement the two-state solution, which would lead to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.
The delegation praised Jordan's role under the King's leadership to secure peace and stability in the region.
