10-06-2013 01:56 PM

Ammon News - IRBID (Petra) — Civil Service Bureau President Khalaf Hmeisat on Sunday said the Cabinet has decided to refer all officials who appointed any employee after February 6, 2012 without abiding by the competitiveness criterion set by the agency, to the Anti-Corruption Commission.

During a field visit on Tuesday to Irbid Governorate, 80km north of Amman, Hmeisat said the number of job seekers who applied for government positions through the bureau reached 272,000, of which 77 per cent are females.

Hmeisat also called on the Ministry Of Higher Education to conduct periodical studies on the majors required in the labour market so that General Secondary Certificate Examination students can enrol in these specialisations in university.
