Ammon News - AMMAN — An Italian engineer was stabbed outside his apartment in Ajloun on Thursday.

The 55-year-old, who works as an adviser at the Wadi Kufranjeh Dam, was taken to Iman Public Hospital and then transferred upon his request to a private hospital to undergo surgery.

Public Security Department Spokesperson Major Amer Sartawi said an investigation was under way to identify the perpetrator and his motives, noting that the attacker might have been attempting to rob the engineer’s house.
