Ammon News - GAZA (Petra)--A supply convoy sent to Jordan’s military field hospital in Gaza, "Gaza 24", arrived in the strip on Monday through the Beit Hanoun border crossing.
Commander of the hospital Mohammad Saleh Bani Ahmad told Petra's correspondent in Gaza that the seven-truck convoy included medical equipment and supplies needed to sustain the hospital's services.
He said the arrival of the convoy will support work of the hospital and enable it to offer better medical services to the Palestinians in the coastal enclave.
Hospital director Mohamamd Raqqad said the "Gaza 24" staff treat 1000 patients daily, adding that the Jordanian field hospital had treated more 1.52 million Palestinians since its deployment.
