The faux-pas occurred at the Asian American and Pacific Islanders Heritage Month celebration, attended by American Idol runner up Jessica Sanchez, and her aunt, the “culprit,” according to the president. “A sign of the warmth [of the reception] is the lipstick on my collar. I have to say I think I know the culprit. “Where’s Jessica Sanchez? It wasn’t Jessica. It was her aunt. Where is she? Auntie, right there,” Obama teased, as the audience erupted in laughter.(Alarabiya)

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Lipstick on the president’s collar could spell a scandal for Obama, and so he jokingly sidestepped the scarlet smudge at Tuesday’s White House dinner.

“I do not want to be in trouble with Michelle,” he said, suppressing a smile as he referenced the first lady.

The faux-pas occurred at the Asian American and Pacific Islanders Heritage Month celebration, attended by American Idol runner up Jessica Sanchez, and her aunt, the “culprit,” according to the president.
