Ammon News - AMMAN (Petra) Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs Nasser Judeh on Monday reviewed relations between Jordan and Kuwait at a meeting with the Jordanian-Kuwaiti Parliamentary Friendship Group.
During the meeting, Judeh underlined the depth of ties between the two countries in all sectors and expressed his desire to build on what has been achieved.
Furthermore, he briefed the delegation about the reform process in Jordan, including the formation of a parliamentary government after consultations with the parliament.
He also thanked Kuwait for supporting Jordan on various occasions.
The meeting touched on the latest developments in the Middle East, such as the Syrian crisis and its repercussions on the region in general and Jordan in particular. Judeh spoke about the efforts made to find a political solution to the Syrian crisis for ensuring security and stability in Syria and maintaining its territorial integrity.
The minister also noted Jordan's endeavours to breathe life into the peace process between the Palestinians and the Israelis, for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
The delegates praised the ties between Jordan and Kuwait and the key role played by the Kingdom in achieving peace and stability in the region.
