The delegation, currently on a visit to the Kingdom, was briefed on the history of the city which is carved into the sheer rock. The delegation also learned about the tourism development scheme in the city, especially after being named one of the New 7 Wonders of the World.

Ammon News - PETRA (Petra)A US congressional aides delegation on Friday visited the rose-red city of Petra in southern Jordan and toured the city's historical and archeological sites.

The delegation, currently on a visit to the Kingdom, was briefed on the history of the city which is carved into the sheer rock.

The delegation also learned about the tourism development scheme in the city, especially after being named one of the New 7 Wonders of the World.
