Ammon News - AMMAN (Petra)--Jordan and Sudan on Wednesday set up an executive cooperation program in higher education and scientific research for the years 2013-2016 as part of a cultural cooperation agreement signed between the two countries.
The program has 11 articles, including encouragement and development of cooperation in scientific and cultural fields, an exchange of experts , training courses and consultations in the fields of higher education, as well as academic, technical and vocational education. The agreement also seeks to bolster cooperation between Jordanian and Sudanese universities in scientific research.
The program stipulates that both parties shall take necessary steps to issue certificates and academic degree equivalencies within the framework of laws and regulations enforced by the two countries, as well as provide a number of grants in various fields by the two countries.
