Ammon News - AMMONNEWS (Petra)--Several maintenance teams from Jordan Telecommunications Company (JTC) Orange Jordan have been working since last night to restore communications and internet services in the country after 40 of the company's fiber optic cables were disconnected in an Amman neighborhood.

In a joint press release issued on Monday with the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC), Orange Jordan predicted all services would be operating normally by Tuesday morning.

At 10:00 pm last night, the Orange Jordan network experienced an emergency that led to the disconnection of some internet, land and mobile telecommunications services, the company said.

Orange Jordan pointed out that the incident causing the outage was outside of the company’s control.
