49 H1N1 cases recorded in Jordan

Ammon News - AMMAN (Petra) Minister of Health Abdul Latif Wreikat on Thursday said that 49 cases of H1N1 were recorded in the Kingdom during the winter season.

He added that 46 cases recovered and three are still receiving treatment at hospital. Wreikat affirmed that no deaths were caused by the swine flu in Jordan and that the health authorities are still following preventive measures.

Medications for the virus are available and all hospitals across the Kingdom can deal with H1N1 cases, the minister said.
