Ammon News - The campaign celebrates three new Microsoft products in Jordan (Windows 8, Office 365, and Windows Server 2012) giving the chance to Jordanians to try and experience these new products
Amman, 16th of December, 2012- In a ceremony held at Microsoft’s main offices in the Business Park, the campaign was announced and communicated to Jordanian media whereby the campaign bus was revealed.
The ceremony foremost aimed at introducing the three new products; Office 365, Windows 8, and Windows Server 2012 into the Jordanian market, and urged media representatives to learn more about these products through offering them an on premises chance to try out and experience these new products.
The large and fully branded bus used for the campaign will serve as a moveable work station, that showcases actual individuals working using Office 365 and Windows 8, and will be driven all over Amman in preset public & highly visible locations.
The bus will run through Amman’s main streets on a three-day schedule, stopping in certain areas to give a chance for people to get a closer look, mount the bus and get a hands-on try-out of the new products.
The route and stop of each day will be communicated to the public through Microsoft Jordan’s Facebook page.
“With the launch of Windows 8, Office 365, and Windows Server 2012, Microsoft is unveiling three top notch products that are of great need to the Jordanian public and especially the business community who specifically are in need for technologies that address all risks associated with productivity workloads that they experience ,” said Mr. Zeid Shubailat, Microsoft Jordan's Acting Country Manager. “These new products we are announcing fall under the industry’s leading productivity tools in terms of security, reliability and of course accessibility.” Mr. Shubailat added.
The campaign moreover includes a photography competition whereby people are encouraged to take a photo of the bus while it is on the move or during one of its stops and post it on Microsoft’s Facebook page. An internal committee will then choose the winning photo, and seven winners will be announced through Microsoft’s social media outlets at the end of the campaign.
