Nightly Protest in Amman, calling for ouster of Prime Minister

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Dozens of protesters in Amman took to the streets Thursday night in protest against recent hikes in fuel prices, shouting anti-government slogans and calling for the ouster of Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour.

They blasted the detention of activists, women, and teenagers during previous protests which marched across the kingdom.

The protesters include pro-reform activists from the coordination committee of opposition and reform movements.

They also called for the release of political activists who were detained week ago.

Police blocked the roads which lead to interior circle(Jamal Abd al Nassir Square).
