Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Royal Highness Prince Al-Hussein Bin Abdullah II Crown Prince, on Sunday offered condolences to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia and members of the royal members over the passing away of Prince Nayef bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, Crown Prince.
King Abdullah paid a brief visit to Saudi Arabia today where he participated in the funeral of late Prince Nayef at the Grand Mosque in Mecca.
The King expressed deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences over the demise of Prince Nayef, who was one of the most prominent men of the Arab and Islamic nations.
King Abdullah recalled Prince Nayef's efforts to serve his homeland and the Arab and Muslim nations and defend their just causes.
Also offering condolences were Prime Minister Fayez Tarawneh, Senate President Taher Masri, Lower House Speaker Abdul-Karim al-Doghmi, Royal Court Chief Riyad Abu Karaki, King's Advisor for Tribal Affairs Sharif Fawaz Zabin Abdullah, Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh and Chief Justice, Ahmed Halil and Jordan's Ambassador in Riyadh Jamal Shamayleh.
The King will continue his working visit to London, where he will deliver tomorrow a lecture at the Royal College of Defense Studies, and meet with Foreign Minister William Hague and members of the Foreign Affairs Committee in the House of Commons.
