BAU Employees Protest for Pay Increase

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Ala'a Elayyan - Many of Al Balqa' Applied University 's Employees on Tuesday staged a sit-in in front for the third day to pressure the university to meet their pay bonuses demands.

BAU President Ekhleif Tarawneh decided to send employees from different sections to undertake the work and operations of the students registration process, a protester told Ammon News.

The demonstrators called on the University to increase the pay bonuses, and to increase wages and benefits.

The employees were threatened to stop their work stoppage, but they indicated they will continue their strike and will escalate it if their demands are not met.
