Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Jordanian national team on Friday beat Singapore 2-0, qualifying to Round 4 of the Brazil 2014 World Cup qualifiers for the first in its history.
In a match held at the Amman International Stadium on Friday evening, Jordan beat Singapore in the stage 4 of Round 3 World Cup qualifiers of Group A.
Jordan's Ahmad Hayel scored the first goal in the 15th minute of the first half, while his comrade Amer Dheib scored the second goal in the 64th minute of the match.
An estimated 30,000 spectators watched the match at the Amman International Stadium, which was also attended by Prince Ali bin Al Hussein, FIFA vice president representing Asia, Prime Minister Awn Khasawneh, Senate President Taher Masri, Minister of Sports and Youth Muhammad Qudah, and a number of Jordanian officials and dignitaries.
Jordan's National team is set to play Iraq next on November 15th.
