“Bank al Etihad” Unveils its New Corporate Identity

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Bank al Etihad revealed its new corporate identity and slogan on September 20th .

The event, which was attended by high profile guests including clients, businessmen, and key shareholders, commemorate 30 years of the Bank’s hard work and success. The new identity, which unveiled the slogan “The Bright Choice”, assures clients that the Bank will maintain unparalleled standards of excellence.

The Bank incorporated the new corporate identity in three branches which will be open in Sweifieh, Um-Uthaina, and City mall on September 21st, in addition to a fourth new branch in Taj mall that will be inaugurated two weeks later. The Bank will open 10 new branches by the first quarter of 2012, raising the total branches will amount to 34. On September 16th, the Bank held its first celebration and launched the new identity with its employees. The event was followed with the clients’ celebration on September 20th and another event dedicated to the press on September 21st.

Mr. Issam Salfiti, Chairman of Bank al Etihad, spoke about the Bank’s progress and development which reflect Jordan’s prosperous environment. He asserted that the Bank’s success is a result of strong and reliable relations with clients, in addition to first-rate services. Mr. Salfiti noted that “the Bank is looking for new achievements and up-to-date banking solutions. The Bank works closely with clients in order to come up with the best solutions that cater to their needs”.

Meanwhile, Ms. Nadia Al Saeed, the General Manager of Bank al Etihad said: “Our corporate identity is inspired by Jordan; therefore, it’s driven by ambition, authenticity, and a rich ancient civilization that evolved into a unique modern setting. As for our slogan, it is drawn from Jordan’s nature and exquisite geographical formations; sand dunes in Wadi Rum, Amman’s seven mountains, and the seven-pointed star that makes our flag special, and stands for its pride.”

In addition, she noted “Our new logo is also a symbol of our story; or rather a seal and a stamp of confidence. Our identity is driven by Jordan’s people, and their warm family ties. It’s a new day and an important stage to renew our commitments to clients, and promise a brighter future…hence the slogan: the Bright Choice.”

The new identity represents many values the Bank lives by such as authenticity, credibility, flexibility, passion, proficiency, partnership and security. In addition, it reflects the qualities that distinguish Bank al Etihad including ambition, dynamism, dedication, professionalism, humanity, and excellence.

Bank al Etihad has maintained a sold tradition of success across many banking sectors, especially corporate and investment banking services. Moreover, the Bank maintained sustainable and stable growth. The Bank further contributed in funding a number of projects that benefit the economy, and society in vital sectors including energy in general, electricity, and renewable energy, water and treatment, higher education, tourism, industry, and others. Such contributions helped boost development and national economy, and enabled Bank al Etihad to make JOD 21.3 million in profit in 2010 with a 30% increase when compared with 2009. The total assets increased by 5.69% in December, 2010 in comparison with the same period of last year. Meanwhile, the Bank’s depositories amounted to 1,264,335 JOD, with an increase of 6.37% in 2010, in comparison with 2009.

The Banks’ achievements were not confined to economy and finance only, but they also included many contributions to ensure its social responsibility which is an integral part of its corporate identity. The new corporate identity was launched in accordance with the Bank’s new strategy which aims at reinforcing the Banks traditional strengths in sectors of competitive advantage including corporate services, and expanding to new target sectors in retail, individuals, medium and small enterprises. Therefore, the Bank developed institutional structures and financial services via phone, internet, sms, in addition to client account management and improving its call center.

In record time, the Bank applied a new Banking system in July, 2011. The new system “Oracle l Flex Cube” is one of the best in the world. Furthermore, the Bank launched internet services, Cybel CRM for account management, and a human resources management system. Bank al Etihad is close to achieving a stable system to ensure that all equipments are fully set for ultimate use of all the systems and their active features.
