The Royal Motorcycle Club of Jordan (RMCJ) officially launches its training center

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Driven by its commitment to promote safe motorcycle riding, the Royal Motorcycle club of Jordan (RMCJ) has officially announced the launch of its training center during a special event that was organized at the RMCJ’s facilities in Naur gathering representatives from various media channels in Jordan.

The Royal Motorcycle club of Jordan and in collaboration with local authorities aims at establishing nationwide training programs dedicated to coaching new riders in Jordan through certified trainers. The training center will be using internationally recognized curricula, standards and resources from the Motorcycle Safety Foundation; an internationally recognized developer of the comprehensive, research-based, Rider Education and Training Systems.

During the event, the RMCJ also announced its adoption of the IMPS program; a British originated program that aims at educating young people through disciplined, dynamic and challenging activities with a world renowned motorcycle display. RMCJ will be working closely with local NGOs to enroll underprivileged children in the IMPS program.

Media representatives also got the chance to watch a fabulous performed by the IMPS team who delivered a spectacular display of discipline and skill comprising complex ‘cross-overs’ requiring split second timing, breathtaking fire jumps and visually stunning pyramids.

On this occasion, Mr. Omar Zarour, General Manager of the Royal Motorcycle Club of Jordan said: “In 2008, the RMCJ was established with the objectives of encouraging motorcycle use, promoting safe riding, and developing world-class rider training programs and encouraging local and inter-regional tourism through the organization of motorcycle rides. Today, we are proud to announce the launch of a pioneering training center in the Middle East and the Gulf where new riders can learn how to ride a motorcycle in a safe and proper way through our certified team of trainers and coaches”.

“The training center and the adoption of the IMPS program are key milestone achievements for RMCJ. We look forward to further expanding the club's activities and seeing more motorcycle enthusiasts joining our club”, added Mr. Zarour.

Established in 2008 by a directive of His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Royal Motorcycle Club of Jordan (RMCJ) is a non-profit non-government organization. It aims at promoting safe motorcycling throughout the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and has been officially recognized as the national authority to regulate and oversee motorcycle use in Jordan.

The Royal Motorcycle Club of Jordan is affiliated with the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) and also works in partnership with USAID’s SIYAHA program to promote Jordan worldwide as an exceptional destination for any motorcycling adventure.
