Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Under the directions of Chief of the Public Security Directorate (PSD) Major General Hussein Hazza' Majali, security forces maintained security presence in accordance with the security plans put in place to ensure safety and security during the election process, PSD Spokesperson Lt. Colonel Muhammad Khatib said.

Khatib said in statements to Ammon News that security forces are carrying out their tasks and the security situation nation-wide is under control.

"Calm has been restored to all governorates," Khatib added, referring specifically to areas where riots erupted during and following the parliamentary elections on Tuesday.
