Jordan’s Ambassador attends swearing-in of Costa Rica’s President

Ammon News - Representing His Majesty King Abdullah II, Jordan’s Ambassador to Mexico and non-resident Ambassador to Costa Rica, Adly Qasim Khalidi, attended the inauguration ceremony of President Laura Fernández in the capital San Jose.

The ceremony followed Fernández’s election victory in early February and was held at the Convention Center in the Costa Rican capital.

On behalf of King Abdullah II, Khalidi conveyed congratulations to President Fernández on behalf of Jordan, praising the confidence placed in her by the Costa Rican people. He also underscored Jordan’s commitment to strengthening relations with Costa Rica and expanding cooperation in areas of mutual interest, reflecting both countries’ shared desire to deepen diplomatic and friendly ties.
