Ammon News - The Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC) on Thursday announced that air traffic at the Kingdom’s airports remained stable on Wednesday, stressing that operations proceeded with high precision and regularity despite the current regional conditions and the closure of airspace in several neighboring countries.
Chief Commissioner of CARC, Captain Daifallah Alfarajat, said that Queen Alia International Airport continued to handle flights according to scheduled timetables. Operational activity on Wednesday included the arrival of 67 flights from various international destinations and the departure of **58 flights** heading to different destinations around the world.
In a related context, Al-Farajat noted that Royal Jordanian, as the national carrier, accounted for the largest share of operations during this period.
He said the airline’s key role was aimed at ensuring the Kingdom remained connected with the world, particularly as some foreign airlines have temporarily suspended their flights due to regional developments and the closure of airspace in neighboring countries.
Al-Farajat affirmed that the commission is closely monitoring regional developments and maintaining continuous coordination with all partners to ensure the safety and security of Jordanian airspace, adding that technical and operational teams remain fully prepared to handle any developments in a way that serves travelers and supports civil aviation operations.
