MenaITech Announces its 2010 Strategies

Ammon News - AMMAN – Middle East and North Africa Internet Technologies (MenaITech) held a company event yesterday to announce its 2010 strategies in addition to honor the winners of its Employees of the Year and Department of the Year for 2009.

MenaITech Co-Founder and CEO Dr. Bashar Hawamdeh shared the company successes that resulted from last year, “Despite the economic downturn that the Arab region has faced, our sales only increased this year by almost 25% of last year’s with focus on the Saudi market where we acquired our first hospital; Magrabi Hospitals & Centers, and we completed our first Far East project for United Arab Shipping Company (UASC), and we acquired our first Yemen client; Al Rowaishan Group.”

He also highlighted the future path that MenaITech will take this year regarding consolidating its regional presence, efficiency in service and product quality. MenaITech’s line managers also delivered short speeches about their departments’ past achievements and future directions.

Moreover, two awards were handed out to Ms. Mai Hindash from the Finance team and to Mr. Ahmad Saeed from the Professional Services team. The winners were selected based on the results of nominations by line managers that were built on factors such as achievements, commitment and loyalty, adherence to internal policies as well as interpersonal communication.

On a similar note, MenaITech’s Department of the Year was announced as the Technical Department, following last year’s Business Development Department, where an honorary shield was handed to Ms. Nawal Bazzari, MenaITech’s Chief Technical Officer. The department was selected based on its numerous achievements last year.
