Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Ali Azzam - Minister of Education Dr. Ibrahim Badran announced that the Tawjihi General Secondary School Certificate Exam results available at the Ministry's Education Departments and schools are '100 percent correct' and have not been withdrawn, as was reported by some media outlets.
He stressed that students can check with schools and education departments to get their results directly.
The ministry had resorted to experts from outside the ministry to ensure that the ministry's computing system is working properly, which they have already proven, Badran said in a statement to 'Ammon News.'
Badran added that experts revealed that the glitch occurred during collecting the electronic file, whereas the process of grade entry from the students' answer sheets is 'flawless.'
He noted that the team of experts from outside the ministry is still working until concluding the auditing process and that this comes out of the government's commitment to further transparency.
Badran reiterated that the electronic results for regular and non-regular students are not accredited until they are fully audited and corrected.
He added that the certified grade transcripts that will be accredited for purposes of applying to universities will be ready early next week, noting that Minister of Higher Education Dr. Walid Maani extended for a week the period for receiving admission applications in public universities.
