Your Hashemite Royal Majesty king Abdullah II bin Al Hussein: May God protect you and may peace and God's mercy be upon you.
We express our desire and hope to you, our leader, the King of the people of Jordan, to consider visiting our village, Ermemeen, and listen to our voice. We are pleading to you, our Majesty, to be with us and make us feel the joyful life we lived the past few decades during the presence of your father, King Hussain Bin Talal, may he rest in peace.
Your Majesty, the people of Ermemeen may have migrated to other countries, however, their hearts and minds remained in the sacred land of our ancestors. Regardless of our distance, the loyalty and pride that we carry in our blood towards our Kingdom and our Chief in Command have no limits. Any event or incident occurring in Jordan affects us all the same way as the people living there.
When we express our desire to have you, our Majesty, among our people in Ermemeen, we abroad feel your presence in our village as if we were living the same moments with them in Ermemeen. We want to feel the happiness transmitted by the presence of the Hashemite family and hope that it fills us with your support and understanding in such special moments for us all.
Since, the government decided to elect our tourist village to be the headquarters of the prison that began construction few months ago. The prison was chosen in an emblem and privileged site to the village and its people. We very much welcome your Majesty for publicly announcing months ago your concerns of raising the standard of our tourist village which is considered one of the most beautiful villages in Jordan. The village of Ermemeen is known for its beautiful nature and amazing waters that makes it the greenest site and nearest to the capital of Jordan.
Given the surprising decision of building a prison in the tourist village of Ermemeen, we plead to you and ask you to authorize the termination of the construction project. The project is not in our interest. It is against our will. We suggest building a different type of facility instead. Any positive project in line with the beauty of our village would be more beneficial to the people of our village and the surrounding villages. We asked for various projects through our embassies and other avenues of communication including, of course, the continual claims that our people did in Jordan. Despite all our efforts, the construction of the prison is still ongoing.
Again, we plead with you, our Majesty, to stop the construction of the prison and to convert it into a positive project for the new generation. In addition, we ask your Majesty to keep Ermemeen as a tourist and residential place of a higher level. We hope to see the day of inauguration of the replaced Hashemite project that we all wish for Ermemeen and the neighboring villages.
May God guard your Majesty to further illuminate our path and make Jordan a cornerstone of the countries in the area. I pray to God Almighty to protect you, grant you good health, and keep you for beloved Jordan and for the Arab and Islamic nations. May God's blessings and peace be upon you, Wasef Bishara Hanna Sayegh Kingdom of Spain Barcelona
