Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Safadi on Thursday continued a series of phone calls to his European counterparts to inform them of the outcomes of the Amman Consultative Meeting on Syria and the next steps within the framework of the Arab political track, launched during the meeting, to gradually reach a political solution to the Syrian crisis.
In each phone call, Safadi stressed the importance of the consensus, which came as a result of the meeting, adding that the implementation of these outcomes would make progress toward finding a solution to the crisis that addresses its humanitarian, security and political consequences.
