USAID-JCP, EDAMA ink partnership to support Jordanian women
AMMONNEWS - USAID Jordan Competitiveness Program and EDAMA Tuesday announced partnership to train Jordanian female engineers to become internationally certified in the clean energy sector.
During its second Clean Energy cluster meeting, the USAID Jordan Competitiveness Program (USAID-JCP) and the Association for Energy, Water and Environment (EDAMA) announced a special partnership to support Jordanian women working in the clean energy sector. Through this partnership USAID JCP will support the participation of up to 10 female engineers in any of the certified courses offered by EDAMA during 2015.
For those female trainees that pass the certification exam, this opportunity will encourage women employment and career development within the clean energy sector.
