US Embassy Introduces New Visa Appointment and Delivery Services
AMMONNEWS - The Embassy of the United States of America in Amman, Jordan is transitioning to a new appointment and document delivery service for the visa sections. This system is being implemented at U.S. Embassies worldwide. The new process is easier and more convenient, and all services are included in the visa application fee with no additional cost.
Every year, tens of thousands of Jordanians visit the United States to attend college, go on vacation, work in high tech jobs, and new businesses. With these new services, the Embassy will be able to provide faster appointments for students and business travelers in order to encourage an exchange of knowledge and trade between our two countries.
As of July 31, 2013, all services, including scheduling an appointment and passport and document delivery, will be provided at no additional cost to the applicant. Information and appointment services will now be available every business day through e-mail and phone in both Arabic and English. All application fees remain the same.
Starting July 31, visa applicants should visit our new Web site at www.ustraveldocs.com to obtain information and start their application for a U.S. visa. Applicants may also call or e-mail using contact information below. The Web site and Call Center are the only official sources of general visa information from the U.S. Embassy and are the only authorized methods to schedule a personal visa interview.
