Man dies after drowning in King Abdullah canal in Irbid
The media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said that specialized diving teams from the West Irbid Civil Defense Directorate, supported by teams from East Irbid Civil Defense, received a report about a 19-year-old man of an Arab nationality who had drowned in the King Abdullah Canal in the Northern Shouneh area of Irbid Governorate.
The spokesperson explained that diving teams immediately launched a search operation in the water, located the victim, recovered him from the canal, and transferred him to Muath Bin Jabal Government Hospital.
An investigation has been opened into the incident.
