Israel investigates with two citizens crossed border into Jordan
Israeli authorities have launched an investigation into two Israelis who accidentally crossed into Jordanian territory from within Israel. Jordanian army forces apprehended them shortly after their crossing.
An official statement from the Israeli army indicated that the two individuals were released and returned to Israel, adding that an investigation is underway to determine the circumstances of the incident.
