“The quake occurred at 11:36 a.m. local time at a distance of 60 km west of Idleb, and at a depth of 4 km,” the center said in a statement.
For its part, the Turkish Emergency and Disaster Management Authority Center 'AFAD' said that an earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale struck the Hatay region in southern Turkey at a depth of 7.4 km, before noon Sunday.
