AMMONNEWS - Temperatures on Monday are expected to rise 5-6 degrees above annual average, bringing relatively hot weather across most parts of the country, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

Daytime temperatures expected in the capital for today will reach 32 degrees Celsius, 35 in the northern cities and 31 in southern cities, dropping down at night to 16, 15 and 17 respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs jumping to 39 degrees and lows sliding to 24, the JMD said further.
