Edufina.com Launches Comprehensive Arabic Website

12-10-2010 12:00 AM

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS – Edufina has launched its new website to fill in the void amongst Arab websites, as the most comprehensive, accurate and up to date information source about universities.

Edufina.com serves as a portal for students and parents to interact with detailed University statistics and comparison tools, making the site critically important for anyone looking for information on higher education. Edufina.com’s University Directory explores Jordanian universities with over 100 information categories with an upcoming expansion of the site to cover the entire Middle East.

“It’s great to be able to offer the 300,000+ Jordanian university students access to advanced information and resources previously unavailable,” states Asad Akbar, chief executive officer.

“In the past, students had no way to compare universities and decide in a clear and easy to use manner which university was best for them. With Edufina.com, they can now use next generation IT tools to do exactly that.”

“After an extensive period of research and data gathering, we are proud to give students clarity in their selection process with statistics and tools to bookmark interesting universities and comparisons. With our smart searcher, students can tell us about their interests and we will suggest universities for them to look at.

And with Edufina.com’s soon to launch social network platform, students will be able to interact with classmates in their university, their group of friends, or just the students in each of their courses.”

The Events section of Edufina.com highlights events hosted or sponsored by universities, and helps students find out about education information events. With the Forum, students and parents are able to interact and ask questions about which university is best for them. Several major features are currently in development that will aid students even further.

The site also provides a blog, Facebook, and Twitter feeds for those who want to follow this fast growing company. Edufina.com is currently in Arabic and will be coming soon in English.

Akbar also indicated that the company is currently hiring. “Amman is on its way to becoming the technological hub of the Middle East. We are finding great information technology talent here, and are actively looking for the region’s best and brightest developers.”
