Jordan’s tax revenues rise to JD 3.46 billion in first half of 2026

Ammon News - The latest data released by Jordan’s Ministry of Finance showed that total tax revenues increased during the first half of 2026, reaching approximately JD 3.457 billion, marking a 1.6% growth compared with the same period last year.

The state budget recorded mixed performance across various tax categories, with taxes on goods and services continuing to account for the largest share of revenues. Collections from this category rose by 2.8% to around JD 2.173 billion.

Meanwhile, revenues from income and profit taxes declined by 1.5% to approximately JD 1.1 billion, despite a notable increase in taxes collected from individuals, which climbed by 10.3% to JD 236 million.

In terms of international trade and transactions, revenues grew by 7.7% to JD 133 million, while other revenues remained relatively stable, edging down by 0.1% to JD 1.264 billion.
