Ammon News - The Cabinet, during a session chaired by Prime Minister Jafar Hassan on Tuesday, decided to dissolve the boards of directors of the Kingdom’s industrial chambers effective September 1, 2026, and tasked the Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply with forming temporary committees to manage the chambers' affairs until elections are held.
The decision was made in accordance with Article 19 of the Chambers of Industry Law No. 56 of 2005, ahead of the industrial chambers elections scheduled for October 3, 2026.
