Preliminary data released by the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) showed that tourism income increased by 7.0% in June 2026, reaching $685 million.

However, tourism revenue declined by 5.3% during the first half of 2026, totaling $3.5 billion.

The data indicated a decrease in tourism income generated by Jordanian expatriates by 12.1%, as well as declines from American visitors (25.6%), European visitors (28.2%), Asian visitors (3.5%), and other nationalities (40.6%) during the first six months of the year.

In contrast, tourism income from Arab visitors increased by 6.5%.
