Ammon News - The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) general price index rose 0.59 percent to close at 3,881 points on Tuesday, as total trading volume reached JD11.1 million.

Four million shares changed hands through 3,830 transactions during the session.

The industrial sector index led gains, climbing 1.66 percent, followed by the services sector, up 0.55 percent, and the financial sector, up 0.24 percent.

Of the 99 companies traded, 39 posted gains in their share prices compared with previous closings, while 23 recorded declines. Petra
