Ammon News - Minister of Agriculture, Saeb Khraisat, revealed on Sunday a significant increase in Jordan’s exports of both hatching eggs and table eggs during the first half of 2026.
Exports of hatching eggs rose from 29.9 million eggs to 77 million eggs, marking a growth rate of 159%, according to Khraisat.
He added that exports of table eggs also increased from 78 million eggs to 134 million eggs, recording a growth rate of 71%.
Meanwhile, Jordan exported 163,000 head of sheep during the first half of the year.
