02-07-2026 03:32 PM

Ammon News - Ministries of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship and Youth on Thursday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to develop and integrate Future Stations under youth centers nationwide.

The step aims to empower youth digitally and enhance their opportunities in innovation, entrepreneurship, and the digital economy.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, the memo comes in implementation of the Cabinet's decision regarding the plan to integrate and develop Future Stations and youth centers.

The move also reflects national directives to develop government services, empower youth, and expand opportunities for quality learning and training in the governorates.

The memo was signed by the Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Sami Smirat, and the Minister of Youth, Dr. Raed Adwan, in the presence of several officials from both ministries.

Talking at the signing ceremony, Smirat noted the memo's importance in expanding the impact of Future Stations and strengthening their role in building the youth's digital capabilities.

Smirat noted the ministry is working to develop "modern" training and technological environments that enable youth to acquire the necessary skills for the labor market.

He stated this MoU would expand access to digital training and development programs in the governorates, and enhance youth "readiness" in the areas of digital skills, artificial intelligence, programming, cybersecurity, and entrepreneurship, in line with the goals of the Economic Modernization Vision and digital transformation plans.

For his part, Adwan said the memo represents a "significant" step in developing the services and programs offered to youth in youth centers, which would be transformed into "modern and interactive" spaces to meet the aspirations of young people and nurturing their potential.

He pointed out that the Ministry of Youth is working to strengthen the role of youth centers nationwide as incubators for young talent.

This vision, he noted, will be implemented through institutional partnerships, which would develop programs, expand youth participation, and empower young people with skills that enhance their contribution to national development.

Under the memo, the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship will develop, equip, and operate the Future Stations, and provide technical and technological support and ad hoc training programs.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Youth will provide suitable facilities and spaces within its centers and support youth access to the implemented programs and activities.

The memo features the operation and development of Future Stations within the Ministry of Youth facilities.
