Ammon News - AMMAN - Her Royal Highness Princess Ryme Ali on Tuesday opened the first Jordanian Audiovisual Conference which aims to shed light on local and Arab media issues.
State Minister for Media Affairs and Communications Ali Al Ayed told participants that Jordan had deemed media a priority in its reform and development plans and programs.
Jordan, he added had allowed foreign capital to invest and be involved in the audiovisual industry in the Kingdom to take part in the overall national development.
The minister said that the Jordanian private sector owns and runs more than 70 televisions and radios, a fact that reflects the Kingdom's keenness to attract investments in this domain.
