Ammon News - A driver was injured after hitting a horse at the beginning of Petra Street on the road toward Ramtha in Irbid Governorate.

External Patrol Department said on Monday that emergency crews responded to a vehicle collision involving an animal on Petra Street heading toward Ramtha. The accident resulted in moderate injuries to the driver, who was transported to a hospital for treatment.

Authorities added that the horse died as a result of the crash, and the accident temporarily blocked the right lane of the road.
