Ammon News - The media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said that firefighting and ambulance teams from the West Irbid Civil Defense Directorate responded on Sunday to a fire that broke out inside a two-story chalet in the Northern Shouneh area.

The incident resulted in three people sustaining burns, injuries, and bruises of varying severity, while five others suffered shock and panic. Firefighters managed to extinguish and contain the blaze, while paramedics provided first aid to the injured and transferred them to Muath Bin Jabal Government Hospital for treatment.

The spokesperson explained that the fire was caused by a flash explosion of unknown origin, which led to the collapse of parts of the building's walls.
