Ammon News - Two Jordanian citizens who had been aboard the Global Sumud Flotilla arrived in the kingdom on Thursday after efforts led by the Ministry of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs to secure their release and return.
According to the ministry, the two citizens entered Jordan through the southern border crossing following diplomatic and consular follow-up conducted after their detention.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Fouad Al-Majali said the ministry, through its Operations and Consular Affairs Directorate and the Jordanian embassy in Tel Aviv, monitored the situation of the two Jordanians from the moment they were detained to ensure their safety and facilitate their return to the kingdom.
Al-Majali said the ministry continues to follow issues involving Jordanian citizens abroad as part of its ongoing efforts to provide support and consular assistance when needed.
