King sees off families of martyrs leaving to perform Hajj

Ammon News - His Majesty King Abdullah II on Monday saw off families of martyrs—who served in the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army and security agencies—departing to perform the Hajj pilgrimage.

The Royal Hashemite Court annually sends a group of martyrs’ relatives to perform Hajj, in recognition of the martyrs’ sacrifices in the line of duty while defending their homeland.

His Majesty expressed his hopes that the pilgrims would have a blessed and rewarding Hajj.

Royal Hashemite Court Chief Yousef Issawi delivered a speech during the departure ceremony, in which he highlighted Jordan’s gratitude for the sacrifices of Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army and security agencies personnel in safeguarding the Kingdom’s security and stability.

Royal Hashemite Court Imam Ahmad Khalaileh also spoke about the noble virtues and meaning of Hajj during the ceremony.

The families expressed gratitude for the King’s efforts in enabling them to perform Hajj.
