Ammon News - The Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission has begun rolling out its 2026-2030 National Integrity and Anti-Corruption Strategy, which focuses on strengthening transparency, governance and institutional accountability through legislative modernization and advanced digital tools.
The strategy, launched under the slogan "A Prosperous Jordan Rooted in Integrity," was introduced by Prime Minister Jafar Hassan on behalf of King Abdullah II during International Anti-Corruption Day celebrations last December.
According to the commission, the strategy emphasizes updating legislation and improving enforcement mechanisms while integrating innovative tools including corruption risk management systems, digital transformation technologies, artificial intelligence and national integrity standards.
The framework also seeks to establish secure and accessible reporting channels aimed at strengthening public participation and enhancing Jordan’s regional and international standing in anti-corruption efforts.
The strategy is based on eight core principles: integrity, transparency, accountability, efficiency and effectiveness, justice and equality, cooperation and partnership, active citizenship and sustainability.
Secretary-General of the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission Amjad Narmouq said the commission believes participatory and collective action represents a key pillar for achieving reform goals and advancing Jordan’s political, economic and administrative modernization process.
He added that all institutions share responsibility for implementing the strategy’s initiatives and projects in a way that reinforces the rule of law, transparency, justice and equal opportunity, while strengthening public confidence in state institutions.
Narmouq stressed the importance of continued cooperation between the commission, ministries and public institutions in support of national interests and reform efforts.
