Ammon News - The Ministry of Water and Irrigation / Water Authority detected illegal violations on a main water transmission line in the Baptism Site- Dead Sea area, which supplies one of the pumping stations providing drinking water to the capital, Amman.

The violations involved illegally drawing water through a 1,000 mm pipeline.

The discovery came during inspection campaigns carried out in coordination with Miyahuna Company, the Central Workshops Directorate, and the Public Security Directorate (PSD).

Technical teams removed the violations and documented the incident in preparation for taking legal action against those responsible.
