Ammon News - The Eastern Military Zone thwarted three attempts early Saturday to smuggle large quantities of narcotics across its border using electronically guided balloons.
The balloons were detected by Border Guard units, which intercepted and brought them down along with their cargo inside Jordanian territory, in coordination with security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department.
The seized materials were transferred to the relevant authorities for the necessary legal procedures.
