Ammon News - The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) continues its humanitarian efforts to support people in Lebanon by preparing the fourth relief convoy, as part of Jordan’s humanitarian response to the crisis in Lebanon.
The convoy includes 18 trucks loaded with medicines, medical supplies, infant formula, relief materials, and kitchen equipment, provided in cooperation with several partners and supporting organizations.
With the launch of this convoy, the total number of Jordanian aid convoys sent to Lebanon has risen to four, carrying a total of 78 trucks loaded with humanitarian, medical, and food assistance as part of ongoing efforts to deliver aid to affected families.
JHCO Secretary-General Hussein Shibli, said that the continued dispatch of relief convoys to Lebanon reflects Jordan’s longstanding humanitarian approach in standing by fellow Arab countries during crises.
He stressed that the JHCO continues to work in coordination with various partners to ensure humanitarian aid reaches beneficiaries efficiently and quickly.
Shibli added that the successive convoys reflect the level of humanitarian cooperation and integration among supporting entities and partner institutions, helping strengthen the response to growing humanitarian needs on the ground and reaffirming Jordan’s ongoing humanitarian role under all circumstances.
