Ammon News - The Highway Patrols Department on Wednesday seized two vehicles speeding on the Azraq–Zarqa road, one traveling at 227 km/h and the other at 200 km/h, with legal action taken against both drivers.

In its daily traffic report, the Traffic Department said specialized teams responded over the past 24 hours to a rollover crash on the Irbid–Amman road before the Naima Bridge, resulting in one death and three moderate injuries. The injured were taken to King Abdullah University Hospital, and the deceased was evacuated from the scene.

Authorities also dealt with a collision on the Desert Highway after the Residential City Bridge in the Hasa area heading south, which caused one moderate injury. Civil defense teams transported the injured person for treatment.

The department added that maintenance work involving milling and repaving is still underway on the Amman Development Corridor, 2 km before the Licensing Bridge and 1 km before Madouneh Bridge toward Zarqa, with patrols stationed in the area to guide motorists.
