Ammon News - Two people were killed and seven others sustained various injuries, including one in critical condition, in a collision between a bus and a semi-trailer truck on the Desert Highway on Wednesday morning.

The Highway Patrol Department said it responded to the crash, which occurred before the Al-Jarf Al-Darawish gas station in the southbound direction. The injured were transferred to hospital, while the bodies of the deceased were evacuated from the scene.

The department added that the crash caused a blockage in the right lane, urging drivers to exercise caution, adhere to traffic instructions, and follow the guidance of patrol officers at the site.
