Ammon News - Weather on Wednesday is expected to be mild across most regions, turning warmer in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will be light southeasterly, shifting to moderate northwesterly in the evening.
Temperatures will range between 22°C and 11°C in East Amman, and 20°C to 9°C in West Amman. Northern highlands will see 18°C to 8°C, while Sharah highlands range between 19°C and 7°C. In the Badia regions, temperatures are forecast at 26°C to 9°C, and plains at 23°C to 12°C. The northern Jordan Valley will record 29°C to 16°C, the southern Jordan Valley 32°C to 18°C, the Dead Sea 31°C to 17°C, and Aqaba 32°C to 18°C.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), temperatures will rise on Thursday, bringing relatively warm conditions to most areas and warmer weather in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will be northeasterly, turning northwesterly and moderate.
A further increase in temperatures is expected on Friday, with warm weather prevailing in most regions and relatively hot conditions in low-lying areas. Some clouds are expected at various altitudes, particularly in eastern and southern parts of the Kingdom, accompanied by moderate northeasterly to northwesterly winds.
By Saturday, conditions will remain warm in most regions and relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Medium- and high-level clouds will appear, while active southeasterly to southwesterly winds are expected, raising dust especially in desert areas.
