Ammon News - The government has reduced the validity period of the unified ticket to three months instead of 12 months, effective from the date the visitor enters Jordan, according to what was published in the Official Gazette.
The unified ticket (Jordan Pass) allows entry to more than 40 tourist sites in Jordan and must be purchased before arriving in the country.
The amended instructions for the unified ticket for 2026 state that the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities may extend this period “in special and justified cases.”
These instructions, which are to be read in conjunction with the 2015 Unified Ticket Instructions, came into effect as of their publication in the Official Gazette on April 2.
Article 13 of the original instructions had stipulated that the ticket would be valid for one calendar year from the date of issuance. The instructions also state that the unified ticket is non-transferable.
